The Great Sacandaga Lake area has many great ski mountains to visit and all the scenery to enjoy on your ride there. There are 4 Mountains within a 45 minute drive of the Sacandaga Lake. Enjoy beginner trails and 1st class ski schools or some of the steepest vertical drops in the Northeast. 
should be taken into consideration along with the level of skiing you are doing. Don't try on boots just because you liked the color or the spec. It really depends on the shape of your feet. Listen to the boot fitter and try to give him/her as much feedback as possible. The boots should feel snug, not loose.
